Lane Late Oranges are part of the navel family, in fact they are a variety of orange with blonde pulp, and are characterized by the navel present in the lower part of the orange. This characteristic involves, within late Lane oranges, such as navel ones, the presence of small segments inserted between the larger ones.
They take their nice and curious name from the name of their discoverer.
They are a very widespread variety and appreciated for the low degree of acidity which enhances the sweetness of the typically yellow juice. The harvest takes place between the months of November and January.
